CORN BREAD MUFFINS

   I put Mother to work today helping with Thanksgiving dinner.  She is making corn bread muffins.  I absolutely love this woman!

   Mother was eating pineapple upside down cake this morning at 9:50, watching the Lone Ranger on the television when, out of the blue,  she said, "He has to wear a mask, too."  She is so funny.

   It was mid-morning.  Mother had had her breakfast and morning medications hours ago.  I was feeling a little gnawing in my belly, so I asked Mother if she was hungry.  She said, "no", but that I should eat something.  I told her I would like some scrambled eggs and gravy and would she cook them for me.  Then I went into the spill of how great a little gravy tastes over scrambled eggs.  I must have been describing the taste for ten minutes when I asked her again if she would please make me some gravy.  Finally she said, "I've been cooking for you for 90 years and I'm not doing that any more!  Cook your own gravy!"

   How funny is that?  I'm not 90 years old!  hahahahaha
